Ex-Rovers Home & Abroad W/E 2/10/11

Ex-Sligo Rovers players Home and Abroad Week Ending 2/10/11



League of Ireland Premier Divison

Dean Marshall and Darren Meenan helped UCD to a 3-0 win over Dundalk, Meenan played the full game while Marshall got replaced after 71 minutes. Danny Fallon was an unused substitute.



Owen Morrison and David McDaid were both named on the Derry bench for their 1-1 draw with Bray but neither made an appearance.



Richard Brush and Gary McCabe both played in Shamrock Rovers Europa League game away to Tottenham Hotspur, both played a full 90 minutes in the 3-1 defeat. Chris Turner was an unused substitute. Turner did get a full game in Shams 4-0 defeat of Drogheda along with Brush. McCabe was not named in the squad for this fixture.



Yob Son was out injured for his return to the Showgrounds in Galway’s 7-1 defeat to Rovers. Jin Gu Kim did however start for Galway and was replaced after 55 minutes.



Liam Burns played a full game for Bohemians in their 0-0 draw with St. Patrick’s Athletic. Anto Murphy came off the opposition bench in the 86th minute



League of Ireland First Division

Alvin Rouse played a full game for Longford Town in their 2-1 home win against Waterford United.



Gary Curran played a full 90 minutes for Finn Harps 5-2 defeat away to Cork. Conor O’Grady played 70 minutes and got an assist, being replaced by Barry O’Mahoney while Kevin Devaney played the first 76 minutes. Stephen O’Donnell was sent off after 50 minutes following a bad tackle on Derek O’Brien who was then stretchered off. Rovers loanee Daryl Horgan played a full 90 minutes and got on the scoresheet in the process.



Paul Whelan was not named in the Monaghan United squad in their 2-1 away win to Shelbourne.



Northern Ireland First Division

Institute beat Limavady 2-0 but no info as to whether Parkhouse was involved.



English Premiership

Seamus Coleman played the first 58 minutes for Everton in the Merseyside derby but couldn’t help the Toffees defeat Liverpool with the reds coming out 2-0 winners.



English League Two

Padraig Amond played the first 79 minutes for Accrington Stanley in their 3-2 win over Aldershot Town.



English Conference National

James Meredith played the full 90 minutes for York City in their 2-1 away win over Stockport County.



Joe Kendrick played a full game for Mansfield Town in their 1-1 draw with Forest Green Rovers.



English Conference North

Sean Doherty was named on the Colwyn Bay bench for their 3-1 FA cup 2nd qualifying round over Stocksbridge. No info as to whether he came on.

Scotland First Division

Colin Cameron gave a Man of the Match performance in Cowdenbeath’s 1-1 draw away to Arbroath. He played the first 84 minutes.



Welsh Premier League

Connall Murtagh played last weekend in Bala Town’s 4-0 defeat to Neath but no info available if he played in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Bangor



German Regionalliga West

Fahrudin Kudozovic played the first 66 minutes for Eintracht Trier in their 0-0 draw with TuS Koblenz.



Serbian Super Liga

Tomislav Arcaba is currently playing for Serbian SuperLiga side FK BSK Borča but no info on whether he played in their 2-2 draw with Novi Pazar.
